What belongs in a complete budget

Add international travel, arrival at Uyuni, baggage and ground transfers before the excursion price. Then count nights before or after the circuit, meals outside its programme, water, personal purchases and a disruption margin. For private travel, establish whether the displayed amount is per person or per group. Compare the same departure city and final destination so a missing return does not masquerade as a cheaper tour.

Local fees are not one universal sum

SERNAP’s reserve regulation requires an admission payment in national currency and permits additional charges. Seller t1174880 currently lists 150 BOB for foreign reserve entry, 30 BOB for Incahuasi and 15 BOB for hot springs; those are seller-reported exclusions, not an independently verified uniform authority schedule. Other listings use different currencies or omit totals. Confirm the current amount and what your option includes before withdrawing cash.

Room quality and language affect the comparison

A salt-hostel night and a shared refuge night have different facilities. Check each room, bathroom, heating and hot-shower arrangement. English may be a separate option from Spanish, and a private vehicle does not establish a private room. Sleeping bags and water outside meals can also change the total. Keep the written inclusions rather than relying on a conversation summary.
